Ask anyone in our Ho Chi Minh City-office and they'll tell you that Vietnamese market is growing exponentially right now. The country's young population is making more money and has started to look abroad for high quality consumer goods, especially baby and maternity products – and demand is surging. As our business is growing so is our office – the latest team member to join J&J Vietnam is key account manager, Dung Dinh.
Welcome to J&J, Dung. Tell us a little about your background and how you came to work at with us.
My background is in sales and marketing in the Vietnamese toy industry, after eight years in various roles I decided to go at it alone and start my own business – which sadly failed, but it taught me a great deal! Now I'm back as Key Account Manager and I'm excited to be working with our Swedish brands. I see great potential for their products on the Vietnamese market
What will you mainly be working with?
I'm working with both Herobility and BabyBjörn, looking after them over all sales channels, but also doing business development to boost our presence in the marketplace.
What projects you particularly look forward to working on this year?
I will primarily be working to bring BabyBjörn and Herobility to more consumers in Vietnam, but I'll also try and find new brands to expand our J&J Vietnam portfolio. Getting to know new brands and the people behind them is always fun.
