One of Sweden's leading fashion brands, Gina Tricot has partnered with JOHAN & JOHAN as they set out to open a flagship store on Alibaba's premium eCommerce platform Tmall in early 2019.
Following A Fashion Night Out with Gina Tricot, a launch event for the Swedish brand at J&J's The Swedish Space in Shanghai last week, Gina Tricot is now officially available in China. A limited edition party collection is now sold online at KAIMEN – The Swedish Brand Store on WeChat, and offline at KAIMEN – The Swedish Space at department store ISETAN.
The launch was featured both in local and Swedish media and marks an important milestone for the brand – who were selling exclusively in their over 180 retail stores across Scandinavia and Germany until earlier in 2018 when they partnered with Germany-based eCommerce platform Zalando.
Now sights are set on China, where JOHAN & JOHAN is proud to be the partner to open and operate the Gina Tricot flagship store on Tmall, Alibaba's premium eCommerce marketplace. The store is expected to open in the spring of 2019.
Gina Tricot is now also available to follow on China's all-important WeChat – the country's number one social media platform – marketing the brand and providing its followers with enticing fashion content.
